Bio
"There is a legend about a bird which sings just once in its life, more sweetly than any other creature on the face of the earth. From the moment it leaves the nest it searches for a thorn tree, and does not rest until it has found one. Then, singing among the savage branches, it impales itself upon the longest, sharpest spine. And, dying, it rises above its own agony to out-carol the lark and the nightingale. One superlative song, existence the price. But the whole world stills to listen, and God in His heaven smiles. For the best is only brought at the cost of great pain. . . . Or so says the legend"

I speak freely here, so beware. And I will talk to you.

***I'm always looking for active thoughtful new friends on here. But don't add me if you don't plan on ever communicating with me. lol

If I can't be honest here ... with myself, where can I be honest?

Most days life overwhelms me ... but I try my best not to let anyone down.

And most days I spend imagining how the world should be, but isn't. I don't think I was born in the right time period.

This is my pride and joy, Mr. Darcy

I have an obsession with English Bulldogs ... maybe to an unhealthy level. lol I don't think they're actually dogs... but just furry adorable people that are dwarfed and have a wrinkly body.

And here is my love

A clean slate perhaps? Maybe that's what I need. I had/have another livejournal ... one that was in use for years, but maybe I just need the comments of people who aren't in my life, who aren't involved... an unbiased opinion for once.

So this will be my honest effort at trying to give the most realistic account of my life as possible. Good, bad, awesome, terrible...

I've recently become very interested in near death experiences and the little research that has been done on the subject. It fascinates me, and I don't think there's many more important questions than what happens to us (if anything) after we die.

"What if you slept, and what if in your sleep you dreamed,
and what if in your dream you went to heaven
and there you plucked a strange beautiful flower,
and what if when you awoke you had the flower in your hand?
Ah, what then?"
- Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
